I really like the "painting effect" you achieved. It's even more convincing than usual. I'm also impressed with the low POV and the basic simplicity of the composition: the figures are placed in a very classic pyramid. And I love the low line of men behind them merging with the black of the horizon. Excellent. The only thing I don't care for was the color choice for the text in the upper-left corner. Cyan just doesn't fit the color scheme of the page. Perhaps a light yellow or off-white?

Captured the dismal WW1 feel very nicely, and the slightly skewed view makes it more convincing as a photo of an open book. Agree that the cyan is a little tricky over the green though. Top marks.
