I think I must get some nettles to grow in my garden, I have read somewhere that butterflies love to lay their eggs in the nettles. Thanks for sharing these beautiful images.++++

Its an interesting comparison. Made me think of how similar the two are in so many ways, and yet in a sense the butterfly is viewed often in a much more positive or respectful light than the moth. At least so it seems to me growing up, that the moth just never ranked as highly.
