Description
Went back to my local pool hall to take part in the forum challenge of "Motion", thought i'd post this one....enjoy.

umm...ISO was set to 100 or 200, Aperature was set to 11.0, and exposure time was 2 or 3 seconds. Bit of a mish mash in settings I know, but the result was what I was after. I started with a 5 second exposure but lost alot of detail, specifically the streak of the white ball going to the pack. I spent about an hour and a half messing about with levels till I hit the right one.

Very nice work. I'd rip it apart if I could, but I'd have to say you didn't right royally stuff up this one. From the composition to the image elements and to the presentation, it all looks pretty darned good! If I had to pick it apart, I would note that the table seems ever so slightly askew, something you could probably fix in postwork. The glare on the bottom ridge of the table would be harder to fix, but if you had a polarizer on the lens when you took the shot, you might have minimized it a bit. A last nit to pick is the background detail at the top left that begins to intrude. I personally would rather see it all black to keep the focus center on the table action.
