Description

I have been watching posts on PlanetSide.UK Terragen forums and there many there concerning and using tgd2, and the problems of making water, Sky, Planets, atmosphere, transparent properties on Objects and other issues facing us with this wonderous new software. The reason I am posting this is 2 fold. First we need more people helping to build better Contests using tgd2 for both this web portal: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?message_id=3018180&ebot_calc_page#message_3018180 To help us build a new base and get more people interested in doing contests and sharing there incredible artists that I see here every day. this is kinda a call to arms and I believe we all need to work and grow together. The second is to get people into tgd2 more as it is so very powerful and while it does have a bit of a learning curve? it is well worth the time to spend learning this software for now and in the future. This is part of an ongoing experiment that we are all sharing in. So I figure this is about people working together on solving issues in tgd2 no matter what Art sharing website it is on. Please feel free to go and help us build ideas and set new contests for us to play in as well as here on Rendo which we need more very badly I feel and join up as we can never have our art on to many websites can we? the more people see our art, the more famous we can all become. PR is 90% of all sales after all. Please rate this Image /bows

You make a really good work on this virtual landscape but I'm not sure for the texture so much mirror in the water.. Don't worry my dear friend, it's just my opinion :))) Good day !

HI Val, Ya I been playing with settings and there is a problem with some of the areas I been playing with, mainly the water, and testing different kinds of stuff and see what the bugs are and so on. So yes you caught one of the bugs in tgd2 with the settings the way I had them when I rendered them. Great observation my dear friend. The bug is in the version of the GI surface details to be exact that is in tgd2 at this time. But still a very interesting effect, just maybe not in this one maybe. NekhbetSun, hehe thankies, was your good Tut that helped plus that last trick, and thanks for the Avitar compliment as well /bows and hugs both of you wonderful ladies.

Nice rock! But it would have been better if you would have chosen a different sun position: Because of the light the rock left in the foreground and the one in the middle are hardly noticeable as separate rocks. And maybe a slightly different POV would help there too.

Strange rock formation!!! I rather stick to the old Terragen. TG2 is extremely slow.
