Description

Your ancestors needed a time of rest, to spread out over some soft, cool grass and laze away the hottest part of a day. All creatures would do this, of course, and your ancestors were no exception. Life was hard enough most of the time, so breaks were needed and quite necessary. And farther along the short span of geologic time Man has enjoyed, the complexities of work, the rewards of work and time necessary for breaks became very complex. Coffee breaks, vacations and weekends off were the direct offshoot of such necessities. Laying on soft grass didn't carry, however.
