while you have made good use of colours and materials, it is the lone figure that catches and hold my eye - so small in perspective to the 'invaders'... it must be overwhelming to be the one sitting upon that rock, helplessly bearing witness - you caught nice body language with the figure, very natural and quite human which only heightens the mood, imo...
