Description

The frequent meteor showers on Sagitarius V provide a great opportunity for each prospector to claim and mine precious resources. Of course, strong defence equipment is strongly recommended, since the exact time and location of the impact are difficult to predict due to that system's strong population with planets and moons of each size. I needed a lot of time for this one, but this was due to my other activities, less to the efforts required for the picture. I had planned it for a long time, and after "Raise of the Dragons" I hoped to get it right. No post-processing; the picture is made with Vue 5I, therefore, I assume that the clouds might look better in Vue 6. Sand and rocks are a procedural landscape made with Vue... might be the first time I got exactly what I wanted out of that feature ;-) Special thanks go to Tablesaw, who was so kind to provide with the geometry data of his nice Vue6 rocks.
