Description

In France, a brasserie is a café doubling as a restaurant with a relaxed setting, which serves single dishes and other meals. It can be expected to have professional service and printed menus (unlike a bistro which may have neither), but more informal eating hours than a full-fledged restaurant. Typically, a brasserie is open every day of the week and the same menu is served all day. Thank you very much for your comments on my previous upload :

Tu as juste oublié de dire dans ton commentaire que les serveurs sont en général aimables comme des portes de prison dans les brasseries! lol mais je les aime quand même(les brasseries pas les serveurs)!! An excellent capture - to me this looks like the typical scene which I expect from a continental cafe. Thanks for the explanation I did not know the difference, or why some were one thing or the other. The photographic skill in capture and presentation is top notch - a nice composition and great range of tones under difficult light conditions.
