If I may be a teeny bit critical I think your title "Just a Duck" does an injustice to this incredibly beautiful creature. I think your subject deserves a bit more thought. On the other hand you might be being ironic here, in which case . . .

This is NOT just a duck! A mandarin duck! The most beautiful of them all! Two times in my life I have had the luck of spotting one of these beauties (they do not live in my country).. This is an excellent close-up on this most beautiful bird. Once again, I'm in awe..
