Description

Nikon 7900 image. I have really taken a shine to this species of Dragonfly. At least the males, lol (I have only managed to get a couple of shots of the females and only one of those is really useable). The dark wings with white bars make these guys really standout around the pond and the rich amber colors that become evident when the sun shines on them is also a plus. I will post the image of my single female capture tomorrow. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. Lee

I wish I knew your secret for getting these amazing shots, Lee! There are dragonflies everywhere here, but always darting about and impossible (for me anyways) to capture. This is just amazing! Wow!

oh, Lee, such good solid detail in the wings at the body. Nice view of the entire back and tail. good placement and excellent presentation. Wonderful!
