This picture was inspired by the original photograph I took of a glorious skyscape and the music of The Cure, from the album Bloodflowers. The track is called 'Where The Birds Always Sing' and I have included some of the lyrics, the ones which suggested this picture to me. 'An endless sense of soul and an eternity of love A sweet mother down below and a just father above For living on in others, in memories and dreams Is not enough You want everything Another world Where the birds always sing Another world Where the sun always shines Another world Where nothing ever dies...' The original photograph of the sky was taken by me and the classic pictures were blended in. I don't believe in any specific religion, but I do believe that there is something out there keeping watch over us and that when we die we exist on in some form or other...even if our essence just mixes back into the ether. Whether you believe in any particular god, or in mother nature herself or nothing at all...surely seeing such beauty in nature makes you think, and gets the creativity flowing in everyone. We just have to take time to see the beauty around us. Anyway, sorry for babbling so much...I hope you like the picture and your thoughts as always are most welcome.
