Yes, I went for a regular 'check-up' blood test yesterday. How many times have people lied to you and told you it doesn't hurt?!?!? Grrrr! Fortunately this time the gal didn't poke me 3-4 times before she hit the darned vein, but I could feel that needle sucking my blood out. It does NOT feel good! Then there is the mark that is left there. It's about 1/2 inch long and looks like a needle hicky. lol q-: Honestly, it does. So that's why if I can get away with it, I don't get blood tests. Of course now, if everything isn't copesetic, I'll have to listen to the Dr. whine about it. No, I don't like going to the Dr. either, and if I can get away with it, I don't. Whateverrrrrr....this picture reminded me of the freakin' blood test! heh heh heh!

I really appreciate all the very nice remarks on 'Pretender.' Yes, it did remind me of some of the plastic Apo flames ie the title. I actually did download the latest Apo, and I'm playing with Liz's, Tom's and Sasha's scripts. Heck, those scripts practically do it all. Cool beans! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo's

The image is beautiful, but nothing whatsoever reminds me of veins there. When I saw the title of your image in my e-mail announcement, I expected a blue picture. There's the difference of view dependent on age. When I go for a check-up, the pinprick is so low on my list of worries, I never even think about it.

Wonderful spiral until you read the tale! Sorry, Doc's aren't my faves right now either. BTW an interesting weirdness, my daughter's favorite expression is Cool Beans, she's a phlebotomist!

I agree with you, blood tests DO HURT and I hate them, when I was a child I used to faint each time I did one..... agggggggggggggg. But the important thing are that the results are good ones.... This work is a splendid interpretation, love it shines and it seems wet ;O)
