Description

This species of wild Pig is related to the Bush Pig which I had previously posted and got the identity wrong it is the Red River Hog, this large male was a very tolerant father as his young kept trying to get his attention! He looked rather bored here! Hence my play on words The Red River Hog lives in rainforests, wet, dense savannas, in forested valleys, and in the nearness of rivers, lakes and marshes. The distribution ranges from the Congo area, from Gambia to East-Congo, southwards to the Congo River and the Kasai. They can also be found on the island of Madagascar.

Not a safe place for a man returned from war. Even Machiavelli does not know the power of the hog.

I love this Danny, it's so damn ugly it's beautiful. A fantastic image full of detail and texture. I don't know about getting Boared the expression looks like he's laughing. Did you tell him a joke so that he would pose for you? Love the colours and the texture of that wiry coat is fabulous. Bravo!!!!!
