The Queen, while she had lived had suggested making Boo official General in charge of security. Salva had howled with laughter at the joke of a shell-shocked, shy as a mouse Deva girl doing anything. For reasons that escaped everyone, Princess Safira had agreed to the unthinkable joke. Sitting a dim room, Boo's anger overcame her sense. She dug out the several hundred year old female General's uniform and looked over at Ahrini's shivering body. F'loona had gone out, and never returned with help. Shaking with anger and fear, Boo dressed and went out after getting on the computer for ten minutes. It took just minutes for Boo to get to Doctor Tarr Belex's residence. She puffed herself up and hit the annunciater on the door. She got the usual brush-off for the door computer. She invoked the seldom used 'City-Survival' statute and after a moment, Bezzu, the house-maid opened the door. She was disheveled and had a hand-cuff on one wrist, and soaked in sweat. Boo strode in like she had seen the police always do, with all the authority of the city behind her and said, "Out of the way! I need to speak to your master on a matter of CITY SURVIVAL. I'm General Chiboo!" Bezzu was so cowed by Chiboo's act, she lead her back to the living room, where Tarr Belex came out of the bedroom, fastening up his shorts. He plopped down in an easy chair and stared at Boo with a laugh. "Who are you supposed to be? Where's your master?" He lost some of his humor when he saw Boo's expression. She said flatly, "I am General Chiboo, appointed by the Royal Triumvirate as of Carnivale of last year, to oversee City Survival. I need you to come with me IMMEDIATELY. I have a Trow dying below-decks that requires medical attention. I need a Doctor's authorization to admit her to hospital. I require you to do so." Tarr Belex looked at Boo and reached over and goosed his girl and asked laughing,"Why don't I just call the police?" Chiboo called over her shoulder, "When the Prince becomes King--his laws will strip your girl-friend of her rights below the point of your Drak! Since you wooed her into your home, YOUR relationship of 'free association' will be illegal under the new laws. IF you bring it to the attention of the police--they'll take her and mind-wipe her for use by someone else." Chiboo turned, her eyes flinty hard and fathomless. She asked, "You want that?" He swallowed, looking at the distressed look on Bezzu's face. "I'll get my coat and medical bag." Chiboo Nodded.
