I looked in my bird book and it seems this is a Red-Winged Blackbird (Female) - surprisingly. Gosh If I'm way off, someone tell me -- I'll redo my little collage! Great capture sis At least this bird has a little color on her... Most of the time in the animal world its the males that are more colorful and I would love to know the answer to that one.... Seems to me the females should be more colorful than the males...that makes no sense to me what so ever grin You did a great collage on both birds here... Love how they are both at different angles and the sun comming in through the leaves looks like little sparkly diamonds.. Love this... You too Hugs Your sis Susan~

Gorgeous birds, stunning capture, the lighting is great, like Blush I too am puzzled by nature the female should be the brightest colours. Love the presentation, very tasteful.
