Description

A candid capture from home. There is a story behind these pictures. Recently, My brother-in-law and nephews were visiting. One of my nephews, being a Kiss fan, his favorite group, asked me if we had any original Kiss albums. So, after a little digging in the catch-all room (LOL), out came our album collection -real vinyl- (mostly from the late 1970's to 1980's). My daughter and nephews (all fans of classic rock), sat for a couple hours going through them, and of course, laughing at the hair and clothes. My daughter is wearing her Angels and Airwaves t-shirt, which is a music group from 'her time'. I thought it was neat, she happened to be wearing it while looking at music groups from 'our time'. Which helped me come up with the title....present and past music, and present and past generations, so to speak. I was so busy enjoying the moment I almost forgot to take some pictures. I snapped these quickly when I realized it. We did find a Kiss album which I framed for my nephew and gave to him for his birthday. It took me a while to figure out how to put more than one picture on a page (thank you Tracey for letting me pick your brain-bbmta). Now that I have figured it out....Wooohooo! lol. (I wasn't quite sure which genre this fit in so I chose collage). Once again, I thank you for viewing/commenting/rating my previous upload. I really appreciate it. You all have a fabulous day and wonderful weekend! ~HUGS~

I just had to read the story again... Lol... Ya know, after we chatted about it the other day, I had to go into the garage and take a look at my vinyl that sits there... No need for thanks honey, told ya, it was a learning curve for me also! Great shots, and great presentation friend xoxox

Memories. I remember when I left the US to move to China I gave away my vinyl collection to some very, very happy collector. I think I gave him something like 3,000 albums. All of which were later auctioned off for charity. But the albums you show above were both within the collection. :)

Vinyl. Love it. Back when music had that pervasive scritchy scratch in the background. A punk song isn't complete without it. Kids these days don't know what they are missing out on lol. Great photos, thnx for showing.
