hello :) i am doing a research project for one of my graphic design classes.. its about culture... this picture is inspired from the project all items used are free at various sites.. ISO for the kimono the hair is from ISO also and the room prop is from RunTime DNA sorry i dont remember who made the fan comments and critiques welcomed!!

The Dress is incredible. Check, I may be wrong on this, but I think it is only the geisha's face which is painted white. I don't think the hands are whitened, but I'm not sure about the neck. and I think the eyeshadow is supposed to be more pronounced. The lips are right on, I know that, and incredibly beautiful (a detail most miss). If you are going for an asthetic image, you did marvelously. If you are going for accuracy, check the make-up research. Again, I'm not sure I'm right, so check.

thank you LadyThorne :) i took your advice and looked the makeup again... some that i found had their hands painted..as well as more eye makeup.. but then others didn't have makeup on their hands or eyes. so now i'm just confused lol i'm going to read up on more of it.
