Originality is something that does not just spread to the whole neighborhood so it always is a bit jarring when it appears. The diners and lunch counters did pick this up mostly in stainless steel and bars used glass block to tie in Moderne with Art Deco. Not having seen it when new a boy thinks it is new when in fact it is older. Then he can come up close and appreciate the boldness.

I can see why it caught your eye. Strikes me as being the product of an gifted mind. Actually I'd be interested in knowing something about the architect and whether or not he or she has done work elsewhere. Many thanks for allowing me to see this one.
