. . .hopefully :) It doesn't look like much until you can see it up close! This is a gesture of the lovely statue, "The West Wind". I did it as an art class exercise a few years ago. Thanks to all who have been leaving comments on my recent pieces or simply just taking a peak at them.

I miss you too. With the kids home for the summer it's been very hard to get online like I do in the winter. LOL But then summers short... Anyway you did a great job with this. The shading is lovely. I'd love to see it painted. Is that in the future? You've done a great job capturing the hand grasping the material. HUGS Maria

Technically this is the color version hehe! It's a marble statue :D But in the future I will attempt some real photoshop painting. I'll probably pick a fairly realistic subject so I won't be tempted to get cartoony with it.
