The explanatory note about The Soul Eater
 
Once upon a time, a big old castle had been built on seven hills in the east.
 
Giant's clan lived in the castle in ancient times.
Villages near the castle had always to pay tribute to them a large amount of food because giants were too gluttonous. They ate villagers if there was a village without the tribute for them.
But, giants' evil doings were told to the god by shepherd boy, and giants were destroyed by angels with the thunders.
 
After angels had defeated giant's clan, everyone thought that no one lived in the castle. However, the castle became nests of dragons who were giant's natural enemies.
Though dragons did not do the evil doing like giants,villagers feared dragon's frightening appearance and a big roar, and requested the brave man to exterminate dragons.
The brave man exterminated dragons.
 
The last dragon had said to the brave man. 
 
Cowardly men destroyed us though we lived peacefully.
Even a little child who was not able to breathe out the first flame was killed by you.
Even a young dragon who did not know the season of the first love was killed by you.
Even a happy mother who held the egg that would hatch soon was killed by you.
After I am killed, I will keep eating the human soul for revenge.
Through all eternity.  
 
The last dragon died and the dragon's soul stayed in the sword of the brave man. 
  
Afterwards, the sword keeps singing in the fight. 
 
My body is steel.
My mind is empty.
 
Warm me by your blood.
Fill me with your soul.
 
Give me your life. 
 
The sword sings the song of the soul-eater ever after.
