Description

Peeking up from the greenery it doesn't many any harm, just content to munch on the leaves. I couldn't tell if this was a rock or a gnarled piece of bark, but it was unusual. It was during this trip I got very frustrated with my Canon S3 as many pictures were either filled with noise and required strong filtering (like this one) to fix, had blown highlights, or looked in focus until I got home and downloaded them. I don't think it's my camera was bad, just I'm spoiled by my SLR. So next time I think the Canon will stay home except for casual snapshots........

I think I saw it moved? It sure looks like some kind of creature...maybe a snapping turtle. Excellent find. Aloha
