Description

Walking along the river, the movement of this beauty caught the corner of my eye. With camera in hand, I had to quickly change the settings in an attempt to get his picture. He was pretty far away; but I had to try. He was cute; as he took very slow steps backward, trying to hide behind the leaves. I wish the leaves weren't there; it would have been nice to get his entire face, but the leaves aren't all bad either; as they are all part of the story anyway. :) Used: Photoshop CS II and Painter 8. Sometimes we get what we get...the moment is there and it's shoot or miss out. I think under the circumstances you got the best that this heron was going to offer at the moment. I think it's splendid, good eye and capture Shari! Aloha~

OH My goodness! I didn't realize you were here! I know I used to adore your work and still DO of course but somehow, at some point...I stopped getting ebots for your posts!! :-( I've missed this whole gallery it seems!! I don't know what happened Shari but I'm adding you back to my favorite artists again very quickly and I'll spend some time this weekend enjoying all that I've missed.
