My Hobbies:
My hobbies are anything to do with 3D graphics, I'm always studying modeling techniques, texture creation and lighting, I'm a 3D addict... When I'm not creating renders, I enjoy watching films with loads of C.G. My favourite animated films are Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, Advent Children, Appleseed Ex Machina, Vexille, A Scanner Darkly and I always like the Pixar films, Im also a big fan of The Lord of the Rings, 300 and pretty much anything Science-Fiction:)
My Skills:
My skills include a good knowledge of multimedia, including  website design, HTML, CSS, working with Javascript, Java Applets and Flash. I have a good knowledge of Macromedia Products including Director, Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash. I have a good knowledge of Adobe products, including PhotoShop, Premiere and After Effects, I can edit video for the web or TV. I can model and render with 3DS Max to an expert level, I have a very good knowledge of working with 3D, including modeling, texture creation, lighting and rendering. I'm also able to edit sound using Cool Edit Pro. I understand the importance of colour theory, good interface design and can work with vector or pixel formats.
I studied for a GNVQ in Information Technology: 1998-1999, National Diploma in Design: 1999-2001 and I also studied for a Higher National Diploma in Multimedia: 2001-2003
Im also a qualified Carpenter and Joiner, I'm always happy to make my own furniture:)

Good image. However, the photo backdrop makes the CGI elements too obvious. A CGI backdrop might have been a better choice completing the CGI environment. The actor and her horse are well realized but still look computer generated against the photo. Photo backdrops are very difficult to merge convincingly with CGI and probably should be avoided in most cases. Otherwise you would be spending countless hours matching lighs and rendering until you get satisfactory results. I guess I'm lazy that way. But its still quite a good image.

A nice creation, well-thought, but there's something going wrong with the light on the two models: as the sunlight comes from the right in the background, the horse's neck should be more in the shade or at least we should see more 'grit' on his body...same with the character. no news, good news, Darren ( just in case you didn't get my last message a couple of weeks ago).Have a nice week end !
