Description
So Richard, Akpe and I got together today, Sorry for all of the ppl who didn't come.
We went to a 'village' called Leigh-on-Sea. It was lovely and cute. Boats everywhere and tons of textures and colours!
Richard was even kind enough to come baring gifts and mine was a colkin filter set that was no longer in use. And I was seriously looking at getting a set. Thanx again Rich you saved me a bundle.
So after exploring the seaside we went to the Ruins of Hadleigh Castle and I got this shot after Rich explained to me how to use the filters.
Levels, Saturation, Curves, Dodge and Burn, Framing (doh) and signature.
This ones for you Rich.

wonderful compo & colours. i really like the filter effect u use here, it goes well with the green grass & the way u introduce the light coming from the right side just adds impact to this wonderful image. i really had a wondreful time today, and i will very much like us to do it again.

Thanks Vera . I'm happy the filters have found a new home where they will be used. You certainly made a great start here, a nice composition and you have used the filters very effectively to get some sky detail and colour.

...what a wonderful use of the cokin filter (coffee Filter or red?), i have a couple of Cokin-filters too(Gradients-Grey and Grey-filters and a lousy asian-Pol-Filtre (-;) but i have not one Image that i could say that was a good use of the filtre...and bla bla bla (-;
