I love cypress trees for their wonderful knees! And they are probably the best tree to stand the ravages of time...they do not dry rot or otherwise crumble easily. This is a fantastic pond! I'd wet a line there anytime. And catfish is my all time favorite fish... fried in cornmeal and served up with cole slaw and hush puppies. Great shot and great mood.

Using the wrong bait. Chicken gizzards never fail for catfish and they stay on your hook forever LOL Nice shot jock

Reminds me of the Bing Crosby/Louie Armstrong song, GONE FISHIN'. The fisherman person stands out well in his highly unprotective green outfit against the dark cypress tree and lake background, Jock. Cool shot, my friend!
