Description

Finally back at it. Being so busy at work took most of the free time available for producing this. Teenage Martians from Venus. Page one. A sendup to every 50's style SciFi film ever made. Lots more to come. Technical: 3ds Max, Poser, Vue, Silo and Mudbox used for the scene. Postwork filters applied in Photoshop. Comic book page made using Comic book creator. Enjoy everything!

Looks scary! Not sure I dare read more - unless you promise drinking coffee wards them off, so I don't have nightmares! Excellent!

ooeeeeoooo (synth music from Forbidden Planet)... "Who are the Teenage Martians from Venus.... what do they want? Cheap Thrills or World Domination? Is anyone safe? Marvel at their other worldly science.... shiver as the godless aliens seek to destroy the very fabric of our culture and civilization.. Who are they... what do they want.... can we defeat... 'Teenage Martians From Venus'...."

Obey my will Judy! Hehe, I have to say I love the concept you have here, moving from the movie to the drive-in, all in the same 50's film style. Beyond that I'll have to agree with the comment of huenersh.

So good Mr Blue. Reminds me of how certain TV shows act out a story, then the effect guys & girls freeze the scene and change it to a story board. This is a fav for me.. Glad you have the time to "play" once again! regards kev

Nice! Very 50's! All you need is a "Lets all go to the lobby..." panel in the middle of the story and you'll be set!

Digital comic with the sense of reality is good. A character of the seeing retro-like letting you feel the newness is attractive. The comics tile such as this image is elaborately prepared unlike one piece of image and should appreciate it slowly and carefully

excellent. this is already a classic. i've watched enough Mystery Science Theater to tell that this is spot on 50's. on a sad note, i hope nothin important in your life is gettin neglected because we hassle you so much to hurry up with the novel.

I love it! It has such a great pulp feel to it. The filters you used really give it that traditional black and white comic feel to this page.
