Description
There were tons of ironic shots during the day: a door that was open (the whole day) and had a huge sign on it that said "This door must be kept closed at all times" and a bulldozer parked in a spot that had a sign reading "No parking at anytime".
I instantly thought of this image in B&W as the white painted writing would state out nicely with the jetty leading to the waterless land ad to add that desert feel a really bright sky creating an added need for water.
Again taken with Richard's Ultra Wide angle lens: Sigma 10 - 20mm HSM DC.

Aww, go ahead and enter ... I would. ;o) B/W was a good choice for this shot. Hope you post the other pics you wrote about. I love irony! Great job!

Ha that's hilarious! The black and white was a great choice and the compo is pefect!!! Besides the fact that no one can decide whether to enter or not....those lucky (and brave) members who finally enter (after much deliberation) sure have a lot to look forward to at the other end of that walkway!! Thanks for the morning chuckle! I love the way you look at life! :o)b itsumama

I didn't see this at the time ( and I have walked past it 1000's of times before) - it has made a great shot and your treatment of the presentation is perfect.
