Description

Decided to show this one as part of the local lore. Actually, built up of five photos of "baba" ("woman", Russian) originally captured as separately standing stone female idols in the court of the local lore museum. Many years ago were scattered all over the local steppes and probably used as the guards of ancestors' tombs). I though that would be exciting if I showed them all together agains the local bright skies. Thanks for viewing and commenting my Countryside Eyes series. Never thought would receive such a wonderful feedback.

Forgot to tell you that they are stone idols, "baba" ("woman", Russia) that could be found in abundance all over the South Russia steppes, probably serving as guards because they were placed on top of tomb hills. or are they just ancestors' ossified mummies this picture contains five pictures of such statues located in the court of the Rostov-on-Don local lore museum. I thought that would be fun to group them all on top of a hill against the local skies. Thank you you who showed interest to the local lore and my series of Contryside Eyes.

Knowing that this is a composed piece makes it even more outstsanding. The idols seem made to last for eternity, so that the people who made them would never be forgotten. Great background,too!
