Description

The central temple of city of Alexander Nevskaja Lavra. Almost all temples of city are on restoration, from here and building sites around of domes. The photo is made from distance of two kilometers from opposite coast of the river Neva. Before a temple the bridge which is named in honour of prince Alexander Nevskogo, in honour of victories and was will erect a temple. All my works of this series are executed in vignettes, a tribute to traditions of Russian masters of a list of miniatures. This my promised representation of my city in which I was born, my parents, grandfathers, and great-grandfathers. Anatoliy

Анатолий! Опять отличная работа. Теперь понятна любовь к овалам (...он с детства рисовал овал)! Сожалею, но никогда не был в Лавре. Был в Питере полгода еще в 80х, но музеев и дворцов хватило на первую неделю, а все остальное время удирал в пригороды. Особенно в Гатчину, так как она была самая неухоженная в то время. Глядя на эти фото, вспоминается...
