Description

"To live is so startling it leaves little time for anything else. ~ Emily Dickinson "The wiser mind, mourns less for what age takes away, than what it leaves behind. ~ William Wordsworth "Never raise your hand to your children; it leaves your midsection unprotected. ~ Emily Dickinson

I am not sure why the fallen leave pooled in this one spot on the asphalt, but I found it of interest. Photographed in infrared and touched up in PhotoshopCS. ------

Thank you for your cracked comments on my last upload, thumb_1482069.jpg Broken Ribs ----- Sony DSC-P200 (IR Converted) & PhotoshopCS. (960) On the ground in Boca Raton, Florida, USA 2007 Sponsored by: ott_bot1.gifKramer Kreations ohm.gif

Unsolved Mysteries. Maybe a vehicle passed by causing a whirl wind of leave to settle in one place. Standby with your camera for another passing of a truck. Aloha

It is certainly strange the way they pooled together. Nature is truly mysterious... Nice treatment on this. Kudos!

IR is wild and cool, this is a very nice and subtle use- surreal and yet so seemingly normal.

Bad leveling on the ground ? maybe one of those mini-tornado's which in OZ we call "Willy willies" or a cleaner with a sense of humour ? who-ever or what-ever, it has made a kool IR shot ! ~Cheers~ :o)

Now you have perked up my curiosity. I am wondering why as well. The wind? or maybe someone wanted to keep the street tidy and swept them into a pile? This will haunt me! lol Another fabulous find and photograph, Kort. Hugs, Suzanne

Someone plucked a chicken? Looks like a pile of feathers...very cool!! Amazing what the infra-red does to an image.

Maybe there is some kind of magnetic attraction going on there with those leaves. That is odd. Crop circle time for sure! The leaves in IR resemble little sardines in their penchant for packing themselves in tight, like in sardine cans! Oh, nice POV and composition!
