Description

Something I started before we left for the Hollow but couldn't seem to make it work. So here it is, with some tweaks and some cropping. I used Liz's scripts for the planets, and the rest are just APO flames, tweaked a little, then simmered for a few days in PSP, and now they are about as done as they will ever be! The little green Forest Sprite is interesting, in that it isn't earth we saw her on, but a smallish abandoned planet orbit around a sun called Na'azil by the inhabitants of that galaxy. We wondered if these sprites are perhaps related to our woodland sprites, fae folk, and such. Perhaps all our magical folk came from some other worlds? The days at the Hollow were wonderful cool mostly sunny days, with just a little rain Saturday afternoon. Thank you all for stopping to look and leave such great comments on the previous post, Gone Camping 4.

I had often dreamed of this magic star "Na' azil", as called it its former people of a remote abandoned planet. I wearied a little my stay on the planet "Xydra" of the system to "Altaîr" in the constellation of Bételgeuse! I wanted to see this enigmatic system more closely. I live desolation... "Na' azil" was a dying sun, the two moons of forgotten planet, one giant gas blue, the other rosâtre, all that could have been disarming. But here is this planet was a miracle! In certain places, small ilôts of photophores was trannformés by their inhabitants in genuine headlights of guidance. Did the volcanic ground resemble gigantic stones pounces, but in fact, splendid giant plants pushed there... by which miracle? that of the energy conversion!!! Splendid green dragons haunted the places, and these are the dejections which fertilized the ground... that the dragons ate? Plants of course... but what a paradise!!!

This is so beautiful. It makes me long for space travel. The sprite is so cute and I'd like to meet one or more, and ask some important questions. Your stay at the Hollow sound like it was perfect, even the one rainy day. Hugs, Suzanne

I can't believe they abandoned their planet. Their home! Poor little fae people. They musta been so cold. We need to go fix their star. I gotta little extra hydrogen I can donate. Perhaps we can set up some donation boxes at convenience stores. "Save the Alien Fae Folk!" Sell little rubber wrist band ect. We can do it!

I like the shiny plastic (the kind that skis are made of) feel of the whole picture, like it would need serious bolts to hold it on the wall. Impressive in its lighting first of all, of course and how that light affects the biggest planet. Poor critters look quite real and worried. Thank you for visiting my gallery again and liking so many of my pictures.
