Description

Wow, what's going on? Lol, I logged on and thought I was at the wrong site... Guess who played with their new macro lens thing yesterday... I think when I deleted the background though, I should have left the stalk of this on... Kinda looks chopped the way I've done it. And I know the title isn't too original, but I couldn't think of one... Lol, and for the first time ever, Dave didn't have one come straight to mind either! Thank you for your comments and ratings on my other uploads, I appreciate them all. Tracey

Fantastic macro! The colors and textures are spectacular. And the matching frame accents this even more. Beautiful presentation.

Nice to see you're putting the new toy to good use! Brilliant capture, no less than I've come to expect from you. Agree about the stalk though. We want to see some close up creepies now. I know its only been one day but we both myself & Mick missed you. XX

a unique presentation of this flower. I would have either taken off all of the green or left some more on. Really clear macro.

You right about a stalk but still a very appelaing flower with its strong deep red color. Very fine shot.

Beautiful shot and wonderful presentation! You might be on to something about the stalk - try playing with the gradient tool and fading it into the background (make sure you save the work first just in case it goes horribly wrong!)
