Description

Dedicated to Shari for being so kind! This is my first shot at out of the frame manipulation, thanks to Shari for the tutorial. I will strive to make the next one better. In my own opinion I think I put too much outside the frame. Thanks for stopping by to look, your opinion would be welcome, good or bad. Have a nice day.

Brilliant first 'out the frame' shot Jeff! I think the outside frame is a tad on the wide side though...

Great first attempt. I agree about the amount of the car outside the frame. Maybe somewhere between the left headlight and the license plate would have worked a bit better. If you will allow a little nit-picking, there are 3 other minor things that IMHO would help the effect. 1. It seems that there is some sort of out-of-place background that shows thru the windshield. 2. The front tire shadow should have crossed the white inner border. 3. The outer blue border distracts from the effect you are trying to create. Nit-picking aside, this is a very good first attempt. Well conceived and pretty effective. Thanks for sharing. Lee

Unfortunately the convertable is not mine, I drive a Ford Focus, this was a courtesy car, loaned to my daughter, whilst her Corsa was being repaired, following an RTA which was not her fault. She had the convertable for two weeks(lucky girl).

Ah! now I know who to blame for this 'out of frame' construction stuff LOL. I'd seen this and it stuck in my mind to try it out at some point. You have a lot to answer for..... This is a good one but the frame is a bit short, as you know, but it's difficult to be objective when you're having fun with this stuff! Thanks for the inspiration.
