Description
I went on a day trip yesterday to East Texas and stopped on the way back in Tyler to see the gardens again.many were wilted but there was still plenty to see.this view takes in about 1/3 of the garden

:-) Tyler, Texas ... the rose capital! And they are so involved in their magnificent roses that they have a Rose Parade of a different nature there, right down main street. I have slides from one such parade in the 50s. :-) This is a lovely rose garden. I would hate to be the one who did the deadheading! :-)

Ohh this is a beautiful garden and great shot! I once had access to a Rose farm where they grew the roses inside! I so wish that I took some pictures back then. They grew every kind of rose you could imagine. My favorite ones were these huge fluffy white roses.. :)
