Description

I'm still alive... ;o) And still trying to understand how to make something interesting with TG2 ! This render was a test, but it rapidly became a nightmare, because a part of this landscape was nearly impossible to render (the distant hills on the left). It's difficult to explain, but on this part TG2 tried to render the hidden parts of the landscape (in a grey-blue color), and it took a very, very long time. Phylloxera helped me to render most parts of this picture (my thanks to him) and I finally decided to lower the quality settings for the part that caused the problem (using the crop-function). The final picture is the assembling of 12 partial renders. I hope there's not too many artifacts... Thanks for viewings and (constructive) comments.

Your perseverance has paid off beautifully. Each new TG2 project seems to take many days to complete; and, sometimes it is hard to remember how to apply what you have learned to the next picture. This is outstanding work!

Looks good to me, holds a lot of promise, as does TG2 itself.

Tremendous work. Glad to have folks like you working at this level of investigation because it is beyond me how to do this. Fantastic rock shapes. Cheers!

Great terrain and sky. Lighting is good and clear atmosphere (how did you do that?) Interesting clouds and great rocks.
