Sorry no picture!BIOHello! My name is Tunde King (and yes this is a girl name) I am living in Australia, on a Central coast between ocean and lake.
I use a canon 400d dslr with many lenses and filters, when editing cs3 is my choice.
I love to take picture of everything but my favorite subject(s) is food photography and still life. On holidays I do capture nature's beauty and I am not shy make abstarct pictures either.
I have no study of any kind in photography. Magazines and book and a very helpful photography forums lend a hand to be better and understanding taking a photograph.

I think more lighting to remove shadow...I assume that can be done in real life as well as 3D...did you post-work some edges there at the end of the bulb?....anyway,it's a great idea and still very well done!

Oh my God ! You broke it ! Anyway that gives a very good composition Tunde ! Unless playing more with contrasts I can't see how to improve this shot . It's a very good one ...

Absolutely perfect, I adore this shadows but I think that I would have more contrasted! This pict is superb and I adore this minimalism and I see a "little heart" that is the detail that adds so much here!

no idea for improve! i like the total white palette! great still life!

Brilliant shot! And very imaginative image! Love the title as well.

My first thought was that it was perfect... but as you asked for improvement... maybe if the light came from the top left corner, so that the shadows fall in the direction of the bottom right corner... that would give the image two opposite diagonal focus lines. I really like the clean aspect of the whites, and the pale shadows go very well with it... no need to increase the contrast. Good work!

very imaginative shot, i probably would have just thrown it in the bin!

very cool shot!! love it!!

good idea. I don't know how to give it more contrast but that would make the shards more visible.

I think the white background is just enough to offer contrast with the expensive fluorescent bulb.I would have just thrown away missing an op

Interesting subject.... Aloha

Tunde, you broke the light bulb just to get this capture? Tsk, tsk, I'm surprised at you! As for any improvements, you could have increased the contrast a bit. Other than that it looks great, with a fine POV.

Excellent! It is perfect!!!

Improvements? Nope. It looks awesome! Different approaches? Sure! Always! There are several ways to shoot anything! It might have been cool to have really long shadows coming down a little and to the right, with more space in the frame to the right of the bulb to allow for the longer shadows. But heck - just different ideas! Awesome work!

Call the EPA! You've just created an environmental mess with mercury contamination. Seriously!

The series of broken light bulbs is just perfect. The attention to detail and your high key lighting all make this image very professional. Thank you for sharing. egmont
