Description

nd70 photo from 38000ft, heading west, looking back from port side photoshop highpass filter radius 250, levels/curves/balance adjustments [ Wow, what would it take to make a year-long timelapse movie of this place in a cubic panorama with depth and parallax, from that island right in the middle where you could see everything? 12 cameras and 12 mac notebooks with terabyte RAIDs, and a radioisotope thermal generator. About a carload of food and blank DVDs. A space heater... but in the end a pretty nifty movie! Enjoy! -j ]

That is a really great shot. Very clear. It looks like a hi-def satellite photo to some extent, but I like the interplay of textures, clouds, ice, sea and stone. Excellent work.

Amazing range of colors in the water - sediments in the paler puddles?
