Description

One of the very narrow staircases in Bodiam Castle. Just after taking this photo I had to walk down backwards. A little French girl of about 8 or 9 had got separated from her school party and was teriffied. I don't speak much french, I don't think she spoke any English. She held my hand in a vice like grip all the way to the bottom. There is about 100 of these steps! My hero act for this year!
