Magnificent in its lush green ivy cover and the red roof! So who cares if it harbors creepy crawly things, right? Isn't that the witch's house that Hansel and Gretal were lured into? An excellent POV display of colors, lighting, detail, and textures in this shot!

Wonderful green house. I imagine it takes constant care to keep the ?ivy? from taking over. I love the slate roofing too.

Excellent composition of this furry house picture, Klaus. I would exho everything PJ said, and add that ivy will kill trees by adding weight and blocking the sun from the tree's leaves. But it is pretty...

I guess they are no longer concerned with having to paint the house again. It certainly would be a shame if one day the ivy has to come down. Thaqnk you for sharing. egmont

I don't guess they have to worry about painting! It looks like the house itself is alive. Great shot!

it looks pretty but that ivy can do so much damage to a house. a client before was getting married to my client and her house needed to be painted to sell.in order to paint garage I had to pull off ivy like this with my clients permission.he told me to leave it laying on the ground and they would decide whether to put it back up.when I asked her for a check she was looking around and she about had a cow when she seen her precious ivy laying down.I told her I had to pull it down to paint.she could not understand the reasoning and her fiance was standing behind her shaking his head in disbelief.luckily he told her he told me to do it

Slow smile...And the greenery swallows the structure whole. Good for it...greedy, hungry, thriving. Glorious capture, Klaus :)
