Very beautiful shot, great light!

It definitely appears to be a member of the thistle family. The color and the shape of the flowers would really help identify it. Interesting shot.

Difficult to say. I don't know where you photographed it. It could be Cirsium Palustre or "Kale Jonker" in Dutch. By the way a beautiful picture.

Bit of the noise in a background but a wonderfull tone.

Definitely some sort of thistle, but I couldn't find an exact match. Where was it taken? Very nice, BTW. I like the sepia tone.

It's a wonderful drying plant. I can't really see a pin sharp focus anywhere, maybe it's the jpeg compression. Otherwise I really love the DOF and background that you've got from the angle you've shot at.
