Description

Vue6I + PSP for the mist: I tried every trick in the book to get the mist to render properly in Vue (metaclouds, low spectral clouds, volumetric clouds, even alpha planes), but I couldn't get it to look right with this bright atmosphere. So I ended up just postworking in the mist using PSP. Oh well, at least I tried.

That is just outstanding Vue Work. I have Vue 5 esprit, but no way could I make something this beautiful in it. Superior Vue Artistic Talent.

"...at least I tried..." - that's what they all say. :-))) But I know exactly what you feel, what counts is the result. And when it is done better AND faster in postwork, why not? Excellent image, not to forget that, looks VERY humid. Nothing where I would want to be.

Dave, your try, is just about the best thing that I've seen. Your knowledge and talent with Vue is fantastic. This image is so realistic. And the mist is just right. "I believe". I am going to learn Vue and your package just might be my ticket to success with it. After viewing this render and the others before it, I am truly inspired. Thank you. It's a favorite.

The mist looks awesome - excellent image. I've been using the metaclouds in a few of my images, because I need misty backgrounds often. I end up having to "tweak" it in Photoshop most times to get the effect I need. Your post work looks perfect.
