Description

Yesterday,Danny (danob) challenged my hoverfly identification ! I still continue to believe that - according to my books - the European hoverfly shown on this picture is Eristalis tenax, also known as the drone fly (or "dronefly"), and not the one uploaded yesterday :

"Hoverfly #1 : Helophilus pendulus" Today I also try the black frame on the new R'osity layout !

Lol you are quite correct on this species my friend!! I had to check my books and in fact we were maybe both wrong as yesterdays was Heliophilus Pendulus a Hoverfly.. Great image.. And we can buy each other a drink..
