Yes. A very good render. The spice must flow! I guess you could say I've been around the block a time or two with the Dune series.

I'm starting to like Dune. Like Harry Potter, my Dad had to almost twist my arm to get me to read it, but I like it now and I'm re-reading the books again. Even thinking of making a music vid to it using a prog rock song I found that was a tribute to it. Can't find a model that'll work as a sandworm, so I'll have to make one there. My vision would be a cross of the original movie and Giger's visions of it from the failed attempt. The recent one was good, but "Too 90's", IMHO... Know any halfway decent way to animate dust in Poser 5? I like these StilSuits, though another thing I'll need to do is make some kind of light colored coverall, at least a cape. A StilSuit is, IMHO, a big piece of "Bolognium" to use a Larry Niven term. Something that if you could make, you wouldn't need. (like how some critical Alchemists said that when it became possible to make Lead into Gold, the last thing you'd do is use it to make Gold for money. That proved true with Nuclear technology) However, I'm sure there could be a RL technology soon that's 50% between a StilSuit and old fashioned "Arab" clothes. It's of interest to me because I live in Montana, a state that could go instantly from 'arid' to 'gobi desert' if the enviornment changes any more. That and a "Peak Oil" panic could make a lot of people move away, leaving us die hard "Born here'bouts" types to stay. That'd be fun, actually. Carefully hoard water before things hit the fan, keep hidden wells, work out 'enclosed gardens', and loot the deserted cities. AND, if I had the time I'd use the university's biology lab and try to breed some kind of predatory sandworm just for the fun of it;-) Good way to keep people from moving back in when the coastal cities sink, as long as there's a way to avoid 'em. Don't mean Dune size, but "Tremors" size. There's actually supposed to be a "Cryptid" in RL that resembles this, though it's dog sized and kills with electricity though it's also toothy and mean as hell from the Gobi desert of all places! And to think people fear "SnakeHead" fish! Well, apologies for the length of this message and the fanciful stuff at the end:-) Nice image!
