Description

Hello All, Here is hoping that you all have a splendid weekend! Todays capture is the Main Hall of the Natural History Museum in London, a really impressive structure. Please excuse the slight spherical abberation produced by my very wide lens its the price I payed for this capture I'm afraid. Exhibits not withstanding you could spend days investigating the building itself and the multitude of details built into its structure. Many thanks for viewing and/or commenting on my last capture.

Wow, vertigo is right! Great lighting, POV, DOF and detail throughout. The sepia effect gives it an antique appearance. Very impressive structure, albeit tomb-like, presenting interesting artifacts collected over centuries to captivate visitors as they wander through its halls.

It reminds me much of a painting. The tones, the lighting and the architecture all add to the illusion of a painting. Well done Mark! Thank you for sharing. egmont

For some peculiar reason, I find myself quite drawn to the aberration..and the lack of perfect symmetry here. Ahh, each to his own via our mind's eyes. And, I, for one, am enjoying the realism and somehow surrealistic atmosphere the torqueing itself generates. :)

Good shot, Mark. I love the natural light and the perspective. Where were you standing to capture this one? A balcony?
