Well, next week I'm starting back to uni and I'm doing a course called Animation Production, which focuses mainly on Maya (I think). So I decided to get all my tutorials that I've saved over ther years and I snuck into the labs and made something simple to try out the modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering and animation I've learned from places like 3DBuzz and Digital Tutors. Here are six frames from the 5 second clip that resulted... This is the Lament Configuration, a puzzle box that is central to Clive Barker's Hellraiser. Open the box and you gain access to realms of unexplored possibility and unimaginable pleasure... But be warned, your idea of pleasure might be very different to that held by the dark beings that you summon. Also, I'm thinking of making a more detailed model, with all the various ways that you can open the box built in and I'm thinking of putting that up in the freestuff section. It'll be a lot of work, but I can't charge anything for it as the idea belongs to someone else. I guess, I'm asking, who'd be interested if I made it ready for a Poser Prop? Oh, and what do you think of my renders? ;)
