hi there everyone...:). sharing my recent painting, "Serenity - By the river". rather an experimental work for me as i was after a traditional feel, having a pastel look. as for the subject, my goal was to capture beautiful moments, nature's colors and the charm of freedom. i did consult few refs of landscapes and birds, before painting this, sketched a few that i later inco-operated with the entire work. painted using tablet, in artrage. as the quality really suffered while compressing it, im sharing a link for the bigger version here: http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b269/waheednasir/Serenity-ByTheRiver-waheedn.jpg happy viewing. i love this new look/colors of renderosity.com. its stunning. fine job by the team behind it. :).

Waheed, I'm always amazed at the amount of detail you include in your more realistic paintings. This one is no exception. You are a master at the most realistic reflections in water.
