O.K. Macro/Bug people, what is this?
All I know is that it is a moth, just less than 2 inches in length. Found it on the grass catcher of my lawn mower, think I picked it up when I was pushing the lawn mower through an evergreen bush. If it helps Iâ??m in the U.S.A., Northern Illinois, Fox River area.
Should I release it? Is it good for the garden? Or should it go away?

Looks like a moth, but I don't know what kind. I have seen some similar to that one where I work. Great picture.

I have no clue as to what that is! My guess is that it is a moth, but when I first looked at it the head almost looked like some sort of bat. Fantastic images though!
