Description

my vacation in alsace (france) is over - i was away for a fortnight. forgive me please that i cannot comment to all your postings or answer all threads, it's just to much. although i'm not good at photographs i wanted to post this one. no, it's not a ghost town. actually it's one of the bigger and very busy towns in alsace, wissembourg. between 12 and 2 nothing happens in france, everybody is having lunch, it is possible to see scenes like this. it's one of the reasons i like france so much.

A beautiful street scene, and I wish I was sitting there this morning, drinking some coffee...a nice escape and wonderful shot.

Beautiful and amazing. Those French lunch breaks should be adopted in the U.S. I also like how business respects and accommodates family life in France. Thanks for sharing a part of your wonderful vacation with us, Koosie. Hugs, Suzanne

This is fantastic, 12.05 and not a soul in view and such a large area covered. Great pov and interesting information regarding the French siesta. Please koosie post some more of your photographs of your holiday, I much prefer the camera because you just point it and press the button, I have not the patience to do the work of rendering on the PC.
