Description
So I tried abit of Tone Mapping on this one.
16-32-16-8 bit conversions. Seeing as my photomatix pluging leaves ugly watermarks on, I decided to use what I have. It's the photographer not the equipment.
So Glenn, this is for you as you inspired me to try and get the most out of the shadows. My tiny little attempt at HDR...
Not sure if once again, it's too flat?
Maybe it's my latop monitor, I think I need a stand alone LCD...

Thank you Vera. Looks like you got it right. Any chance of you trying a three shot bracket on a tripod? Because that is where the real magic comes. Make sure you focus carefully and/or use an aperture of 8 or so to bring focus to all parts of the image and then smart sharpen tack sharp to finish.

Yeah for something like this you kinda need the 3 shots... but otherwise I think you're starting to get there... If ya wanna get Photomatix you can go the cheaper way and get the plug-in only cause cs2 will always be able to merge the original HDR image for you... but keep playing there... The shot itself isn't bad here....
