Description

Some months ago a friend of mine named Simon Robinson took me on a walk round Gordale Scar and Malham Cove. Near the end of the walk, when we reached the bottom of Malham Cove, we saw a number of rock climbers climbing the face of the cove, so I took a few photos. I wasn't sure what category to put this in, perhaps "Sporting", if it had been me up that cliff I would have put it in "Religious/Spiritual" cause it sure would have frightened the B'Jesus out of me. Here is a link to some info on Malham Cove at Wikipedia.

I like indoor climbing....anything over 100ft and i get vertigo. You have to give these guys there due. Great shot.

Awesome shot mate! Love the textures in this and a very nice compo with that guy there... I've never done any rock climbing but I'd love to give it a go. Thanks for sharing this beauty with us!

Excellent composition and I like the texture of the cliff and the contrast with the colours of the climber!
